With over 50 outlets nationwide, Proton e.MAS currently holds the largest EV dealership network in Malaysia.

National EV marque Proton e.MAS has expanded its nationwide dealership network to over 50 outlets, thus making it the largest EV dealership network in Malaysia. This rapid expansion reflects the automaker’s commitment to building a strong ecosystem to support its users nationwide, ensuring that every Malaysian has access to electrified mobility.

By the end of Oct 2025, a total of 45 Proton e.MAS dealerships will be operational; each will offer Malaysians a comprehensive EV retail and ownership experience, from sales to test drives to charging facilities and aftersales support.

“The response to Proton e.MAS has been truly encouraging. We have grown from zero to the largest EV dealership network in Malaysia within a year, and this is just the beginning,” said Zhang Qiang, CEO of PRO-NET.

“Our goal is simple: to make electric mobility accessible to everyone. The support we’ve received from our partners, dealers, and customers proves that Malaysians are ready for this change.”

In line with its expansion strategy, Proton e.MAS is exploring several key locations across major regions, including:

  • Klang Valley: Bangsar (KL), Pandan Indah (KL), Bukit Jalil (KL), Batu Caves (Selangor), Kota Damansara (Selangor), Cyberjaya (Selangor), Kajang (Selangor)
  • Johor: Skudai, Kluang, Johor Bahru
  • Penang: Nibong Tebal, Batu Kawan

Besides expanding its network, Proton e.MAS is also poised to expand its lineup by launching the much-anticipated Proton e.MAS 5 by the end of this month. With a tentative price range of RM60,000 to RM80,000, the upcoming e.MAS 5 has the potential to become the most affordable EV in Malaysia, thereby encouraging more Malaysians to embrace electric vehicles.

Bookings for the upcoming Proton e.MAS 5 can be made now at just RM99, either via Proton e.MAS’ official website or at any Proton e.MAS dealerships near you. The first 5,000 customers who book the EV will get exclusive early-bird perks, including a limited-edition Proton e.MAS Touch ‘n Go NFC Card preloaded with RM100 and a RM500 rebate on the booking fee.
