Coach operator Aeroline will resume services between Singapore and Malaysia on Friday, Nov 28, after a month-long suspension originally set to end on Dec 6.

The suspension, imposed by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) on Nov 6, came after Aeroline continued picking up and dropping off passengers at locations outside approved terminals.

This included spots like Corus Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, instead of a centralised hub such as Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS).

Previously, Transport Minister Anthony Loke clarified that the government is not forcing operators to use only TBS or Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG).

“It’s not true that we’re forcing anyone. We’re not restricting Aeroline or any other operator to TBS or TBG but they must operate from a safe, licensed terminal,” he said.

Loke added that while convenience is important, public safety cannot be compromised, noting that APAD is working on simplifying the licensing process so it’s easier to set up proper terminals. 574412163_10162389175903597_3725694132802867904_n-(2).jpg
Tickets for the resumed service show departures from Singapore’s HarbourFront Centre to Kuala Lumpur with Corus Hotel as the drop-off point. Aeroline also runs routes from Penang and Johor Bahru to Singapore.
