NZ Wheels Opens ASEAN’s First Stars@Mercedes-Benz Outlet

Earlier today, Carz.com.my were invited to size-up and experience first-hand the newly revamped NZ Wheels Mercedes-Benz Bangsar showroom. Said premise has been fully revised and is now called Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar.

Though already a staple brand outlet located in a prominent address, dealers NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd – a subsidiary of the Naza Auto Group – now operates the very first Mercedes-Benz dealership outlet in ASEAN featuring the Stars@Mercedes-Benz brand concept.

Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar stands as only the third outlet furnished in the Stars@Mercedes-Benz brand concept established globally - the other two are located in Tokyo, Japan and Zurich, Switzerland.

The effort also places Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar as only the third such concept showroom established in Mercedes-Benz’s global network. The other two are in the upscale Ginza district of Tokyo, Japan, followed by another in Zurich, Switzerland.

“Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar, complemented by the latest Mercedes-Benz retail brand presence, is unprecedented as it embodies our vision to transform retail spaces into immersive lifestyle destinations,” expressed Amanda Zhang, CEO and president of Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM).

Key members from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM), as well as the Naza Auto Group were present to officially open the fully revamped outlet located in one of KL's most prominent addresses.

Zhang was present to officially launch the brand outlet, along with key members of the Naza Auto Group led by its chairman Datuk Jasmy Ismail and CEO Mohd Rizal Jailan. Present too was SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman, Naza Corporation Holdings – parent company to Naza Auto Group.

Occupying a 1,800 square metre double-storey premise just off Bangsar’s Jalan Ara, NZ Wheels had invested a total of RM5 million the revamp the outlet. Housed within are several ‘immersive dedicated zones’ for Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG, G-Class, and flagship Mercedes-Benz models range.

Unique to Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar is a dedicated 'Manufaktur' section, and it caters to discerning clients with a penchant for bespoke vehicle customisation.

Unique to Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar too is a dedicated ‘Manufaktur’ section. Here, select clientele keen on bespoke vehicle customisation can fully explore a wide range of samples and options for which. Aiding this are large digital screens presenting audiovisual content, as well as the café-like lounge creating a relaxed ambience.

“This showroom will be a benchmark for personalised service and exclusive automotive experiences, reflecting both our dedication to excellence and understanding the evolving needs of today’s luxury consumers,” added Naza Auto Group Chairman Datuk Jasmy, in his keynote speech earlier today.

Housed within Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar too are several 'immersive dedicated zones' for Mercedes-Maybach, Mercedes-AMG, G-Class, and flagship Mercedes-Benz models.

Besides the native Mercedes-Benz brand experience sections mentioned, Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar is also built to cater to the marque’s growing number of electrified vehicle owners too. This is evident through the presence of a 50 kW DC fast-charging station on-premise.

Not only geared up for sales, Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar will also soon be geared up to receive after-sales customers. Enabling which is an upcoming off-site 2S service centre located in Jalan Genting Klang/Setapak that NZ Wheels says will be opened ad operational by the second quarter (Q2) of next year (2026).

MBM and NZ Wheels jointly noted that Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar can "transform into one distinct brand world within 30 minutes" thanks to its modular wall systems.

Lastly, both MBM and NZ Wheels jointly noted that Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar has the ability to “transform into one distinct brand world within 30 minutes.” Granting this are the outlet’s modular wall systems.

From which, MBM’s Zhang adds the firm’s expectations to see more collaborations with other luxury brands at this space in future.
