FREE Oil Changes & 5,000 New Helmets?! JPJ Is Giving Away Some Major Goodies In Penang This Weekend!
![]()
If you're a motorcyclist living in Penang, you might want to clear your schedule this weekend. To celebrate their 80th anniversary, JPJ is throwing a massive carnival at Stadium Negeri Pulau Pinang, and they aren’t coming empty-handed.
We’re talking free engine oil, thousands of brand-new helmets, and even a "clearance sale" on those "nice" number plates you've been eyeing!
5,000 Free Helmets Up For Grabs!

Is your current helmet looking a bit "seasoned" or lacking that SIRIM sticker? This is your chance for an upgrade. JPJ has allocated 5,000 units of brand-new helmets for a free exchange programme.
- How it works: Just bring your old, broken, or non-SIRIM spec helmet and exchange it for a shiny new one.
- The Rules: You must be a Malaysian citizen aged 16 and above. Don't forget your MyKad for verification! It’s limited to one unit per person, so first come, first served.
1,500 Free Engine Oil Changes

Your bike deserves a treat too! JPJ is offering a free engine oil change for small-capacity motorcycles.
- The Specs: This is specifically for bikes with engines 250cc and below.
- The Limit: They are giving out 500 free oil changes per day (1,500 total over the three-day event).
- The Catch: You must be the registered owner of the motorcycle (bring your MyKad!)
Safety First: 1,000 Free Child Helmets
Safety starts young! If you often ferry your kids to school on a motorcycle, JPJ is giving away 1,000 free child helmets, aged five to nine.
Note: Each family is limited to one free child helmet, and you’ll need to provide identification for the little ones.
Wait, There’s More: You Can Score 'Cantik' Number Plates For As Low As RM250 In Penang This Weekend
