Launched at The Exchange TRX, the new CLA 250+ AMG Line arrives as a sole, high-spec variant priced at RM274,888.  Generating an astonishing 792 km (WLTP) from a single charge, it officially becomes the longest-range EV under RM300,000 in Malaysia, delivering near-identical distance capability to BMW's RM399,800 iX3 for over RM100,000 less.

1. Drivetrain & Range: Efficiency Champion

Built on the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA), the CLA 250+ features an innovative rear-axle Electric Drive Unit (EDU 2.0) paired with a two-speed transmission. Gear 1 (11:1 ratio) provides immediate, responsive acceleration for urban driving, while Gear 2 (5:1 ratio) maximizes efficiency and refinement at high highway speeds.

Note: The Malaysian-spec CLA 250+ does not feature the optional 400V DC step-up converter, meaning it will not support 400-volt DC fast chargers such as Tesla Superchargers.

Along with the vehicle, MBM launched the MB.Charge Public service, allowing drivers to authenticate and automatically bill charging sessions across over 3,000 public chargers in Malaysia.
