The New Range Rover Sport Launched In Malaysia, Priced From MYR 1,698,000

A highly sought after and anticipated third-generation model, the new Range Rover Sport, officially launched in Malaysia.
The fully-imported (CBU) luxury SUV is offered in the Dynamic version, with prices starting at MYR 888,688 (duty-free) and MYR 1,698,000 (duty-paid).



Setting new standards, it boasts forceful on-road prowess, world-class all-terrain capability, progressive design, and high-tech connectivity.
Exterior-wise, the Range Rover DNA is prominent, with the front-end featuring a stealth-like grille and slimly-framed digital LED headlamps.

This is paired to a sculpted, double-aperture lower bumper, which has a horizontal bisecting body-colour element, and black detailing.
Elsewhere, it gets soft-closing flush-glazed doors, powered-tailgate, hidden waist rail finisher, laser-welded roof, and a set of 22-Inch Style 5127 Satin Dark Grey alloy rims.



Interior-wise, the cockpit-like cabin is driver-oriented, with a high, sloping centre console and intuitive technologies.
Incorporated is the Pivi Pro infotainment system, featuring a centre-floating 13.1-Inch curved touchscreen, flanked by a 13.7-Inch Interactive Driver Display.
Said system has a customisable layout, and serves as an interior personal assistant, controlling the navigation, media, and vehicle settings.
Additionally, it comes with power-adjustable seats, four-zone automatic air-conditioning, a cabin air purification pro system, and several other creature comforts.



Performance-wise, underpinned is a flexible mixed-metal Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex), providing up to 35% of torsional stiffness.
Harbouring in it is a mild-hybrid system (MHEV), integrating a 3.0-Litre turbocharged petrol engine, and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Power is transmitted via an Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (i-AWD) system. This setup produces up to 395 HP, and does 0 to 100 KM/H in 5.7 seconds.
Propping up its robust build is an exclusively-tuned integrated chassis control system and Dynamic Air Suspension with adaptive chambers.

Safety-wise, aside from an all-encompassing airbag fitment, it is installed with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Included are Emergency Braking, 3D Surround Camera, Wade Sensing, ClearSight Ground View and ClearSight Interior Rear View Mirror, Manoeuvring Lights, Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Driver Condition Response, Lane Keep Assist, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
