PLUS Will Activate 18 SmartLanes On NSE For Hari Raya Aidilfitri Holidays
PLUS Malaysia said that it will activate more SmartLanes to accommodate the traffic during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.
The concessionaire will install 18 SmartLanes on the North-South Expressway (NSE) during the period, with nine located in the central region, three in the northern region, and six in the southern region, Astro Awani reported.

In order to better inform drivers of the existence of these SmartLanes, PLUS has also added signage to identify them. The first sign is positioned one kilometer prior to the SmartLane's opening. Subsequently, there will be an additional sign 500 meters in advance, along with a signboard every 500 meters after that.
In addition, the SmartLane route will have a flashing green light to indicate that the lane is available for use. Drivers are advised to note this and look at the schedule as the operating hours vary based on location and traffic conditions.
