2024 Mercedes-Benz C350e PHEV CKD Price Announced – RM338,888

The all-new 2024 Mercedes-Benz C350e PHEV CKD price has been officially announced at RM338,888.

Several months after making its Malaysian debut, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has finally announced the price for the new W206-gen Mercedes-Benz C350e plug-in hybrid (PHEV). Locally assembled (CKD) at MBM’s Pekan plant, the new C350e PHEV is priced at RM338,888 on-the-road, making it the most expensive non-AMG C-Class on sale in our market today.

The C350e gets a new plug-in hybrid powertrain setup comprising a familiar four-pot turbocharged mill.

As the only C-Class variant in our market to feature a plug-in hybrid setup, the new C350e PHEV uses a 2.0-litre 4-cyl turbocharged petrol mill rated at 201 HP (150 kW) and 320 NM as its core, which is then mated to an electric motor setup rated at 127 HP (95 kW) and 440 NM.

Combined, the whole system delivers 308 HP (230 kW) and 550 NM to the rear wheels (RWD) via a nine-speed 9G-Tronic gearbox, allowing this sedan to blast from nought to 100 KM/H in just 6.1 seconds, en route to its capped V-max at 245 KM/H. Meanwhile, its EV-only top speed is only capped at 140 KM/H.

Juicing said electric motor is a sizable 25.4-kWh battery pack, which grants the C350e 117 KM of EV-only range on the stricter WLTP standards. On the charging front, the C350e PHEV supports 11 kW AC charging, which fills up the battery pack in about two hours. Unfortunately, the 50 kW DCFC option is not available for the Malaysian-spec C350e.

For our market, the new C350e PHEV comes standard with both the AMG Line and Night Package, granting its exterior a slew of sporty touches. Key highlights include the AMG Line body kit, the iconic Mercedes-Benz star-patterned grille in chrome, 18-inch AMG 5-spoke light alloy wheels, plus a slew of high-gloss black parts and accents.

Besides the cosmetic bits, other standard exterior equipment present here includes the LED DIGITAL LIGHT headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, a panoramic sliding sunroof, and many more.

On board, the C350e PHEV CKD comes with all the bells and whistles you expect to find in a range-topping Merc model. Key bits of equipment present here include the multifunctional sports steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, ARTICO man-made leather upholstery in both black and nappa hues, AMG floor mats, a built-in ambient lighting system, as well as the latest MBUX infotainment suite featuring a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 11.9-inch central infotainment display.

With order books already opened since its initial preview, the all-new, W206-gen Mercedes-Benz C350e PHEV CKD is priced at RM338,888 on-the-road. For said price, customers will get a standard 4-year unlimited mileage standard warranty provided by MBM, plus a separate 6-year or 100,000 KM warranty for its high-voltage battery system.
