Launched: 2024 Aston Martin Vantage – From RM2.37 Million

Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur welcomes the all-new 2024 Vantage into Malaysia today.
Aston Martin Kuala Lumpur (AMKL - Wearnes Quest Sdn Bhd) officially introduced the all-new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage in Malaysia earlier today. Continuing the Vantage’s 74-year-long legacy, this new model is touted to be the most powerful Vantage ever made, albeit featuring fewer displacements than its predecessor.
The new Vantage is powered by an AMG-sourced twin-turbo V8 mill rated at 656 HP and 800 NM.
That is because the new Vantage follows in the footsteps of its bigger sibling, the DB12, in dropping its signature V12 engine for a more potent 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 sourced from AMG, which has been thoroughly updated to grant it a higher output of 656 HP and 800 NM. This makes the new Vantage 153 HP and 115 NM more powerful than its V12-powered predecessor.
Mated to a ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic gearbox, the new Vantage boasts a rapid century sprint time of 3.4 seconds, en route to its limited V-Max of 325 KM/H.
Besides the peppier V8 engine, the new Vantage also gains some equally-important mechanical improvements, such as its new electronic steering system with an intelligent adaptive damper system by Bilstein that provides an “inherently sporting feel while leaving room to introduce progressive tighter body control.” Other electronic bits present here include the advanced vehicle dynamics control system and an electronic rear differential that works in conjunction with an updated vehicle stability system.
On the styling front, the new Vantage adopts some familiar styling cues from the new DB12. For starters, this two-door sportscar gets similar teardrop-style LED matrix headlights flanking Aston’s iconic massive front grille design. To complement its fiercer front face, the Vantage also gets a wider rear bumper design with prominent rear accents that house the massive quad tailpipes.
From the side, the car comes standard with AML-specific 21-inch lightweight forged wheels wrapped in bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tyres. Hiding beneath the wheels are the improved cast-iron brakes, which can be upgraded to carbon-ceramic ones that also weigh 27 KG lighter than the standard unit.
On board, the new Vantage gets the same new Aston Martin cabin layout as we saw on both the DB12 and the newly-updated DBX. Present here in the familiar front dash layout is a 10.25-inch central infotainment display that supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with several physical buttons scattered around it.
Besides the customisable cabin trims and multiple upholstery options via Aston Martin’s Q bespoke arm, the new Vantage also comes standard with an 11-speaker, 390-watt audio system, which can be upgraded to 15-speaker, 1,170-watt ones by Bowers and Wilkins.
The all-new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is now available for commissioning through AMKL, where its base price starts from RM2.37 million before options. Included with said price is a standard 3-year vehicle warranty, which can be optionally extended by up to 20 years.
So folks, what do you think of the new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage? Would you prefer this sporty two-seater coupe over its larger super-grand tourer sibling? As always, don’t forget to leave your thoughts in the comments down below…
