The rugged GWM Tank 300 4x4 SUV is now open for booking in Malaysia at an estimated price of RM 250,000 with deliveries expected to start in July 2024.
Fully-imported (CBU) from China, the Tank 300 will be powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a ZF 8-Speed Automatic Transmission (8AT), delivering 220 PS and 380 NM of torque.

Additionally, this 4x4 SUV features a dual-speed, electronically-controlled part-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system, allowing for a seamless switching between two-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) modes.
With an ultra-high-strength body weighing 1500 MPa, it can handle a ramp angle of 23.1°, a maximum gradeability of 70%, and a maximum wading depth of 700 mm. The Tank 300’s capabilities have secured its position as the No. 1 SUV brand in China for 39 consecutive months.

Inside, however, it offers a cosy and luxurious cabin, with seats upholstered in premium NAPPA leather. It would also feature 8-way adjustable driver seat and h Double-Layer Soundproof Acoustic Glass, blending comfort and performance seamlessly.
The Tank 300 will feature Level 2 (L2) Driving Assistance, including smart driving aids such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Highway Assist (HWA) and a enhanced 12.3-inch Full Colour Infotainment Screen with anti-dazzle and anti-reflection properties, supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Furthermore, in an effort to champion safety, the Tank 300 would feature safety features such as Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a 360-degree all-around view monitor with a Transparent Chassis Function. Also in the event of an accident, the Automatic Collision Unlocking and Automatic Collision Fuel Cutoff functions enhance the safety of occupants. These features have earned the GWM TANK 300 a 5-star ANCAP safety rating.

The first 300 bookings of the GWM TANK 300 will also receive a special package from GWM, including a 5-year/100,000 km free service package (inclusive of parts and labour, whichever comes first), a lifetime powertrain warranty with unlimited mileage for the first owner, and a mystery gift to be revealed at the official launch.
