- Prepare Yourself for M Division’s Latest Video!
If you are a fan of M, this is a video you should watch on loop, frame by frame. After the M town virtual event, BMW released “The Drop”, a short film about an alternate universe where every BMW enthusiast will want to live in.
There are many Easter eggs throughout the video. We will not spoil it for you by revealing them, but we can tell you that 18 of BMW’s latest M models have appeared, and a BMW M charging booth made a cameo as well - go figure.
To film this video, BMW has invited members from the M Community to provide their own vehicles. The slots were raffled off in an online campaign. BMW is apparently quite proud of this marketing effort:
“M Town is the most successful digital campaign from the BMW M GmbH, particularly as the entire BMW M Community throughout the world actively participates and shapes it. Therefore, we are happy to continue this success story with the next film whilst also giving a small glimpse into the future,” said BMW M, Director Global Sales and Marketing, Lothar Schupet.
Back home, BMW Malaysia has just launched the BMW M340i xDrive, which is just 0.1 seconds slower to the century compared to the bucktoothed BMW M3. If you want to go all the way, the BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition are available for booking too.
If you are looking for a used BMW, there are many BMWs on the secondary market with M body parts, one needs to look harder for a proper M car.
