Give Your Engine A Detox Treatment With The New Petronas Primax 97 With Pro-Race

Petronas Dagangan has recently launched their new Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race fuel that is said to deliver noticeable performance gains.

Petronas’ long involvement with top-level motorsports (Formula 1, Moto2, and Moto3) enable the company to create, test, fine-tune, and verify their chemicals and chemistry at a much faster rate than the usual product development cycle.

The result, the fully in-house developed new Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race has been designed to restore power, deliver greater response, and improve engine efficiency.

The company, being the first to include friction modifier elements into consumer fuels in the early 2000s, is proud to now offer the world’s first Advanced Dual Friction Modifier that is only found in the new Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race.

In laboratory tests, intake valves and fuel injectors see a drastic reduction in carbon deposits when being treated with the new Petronas Primax 97 fuel. For us, drivers, think of it as giving our engines a detox; clearing all the deposits so it breathes better.

Thanks to the newly developed Advanced Dual Friction Modifier, fuel consumption is also improved, as the formulation in the new Primax 97 fuel has been designed to interact with the engine oil.

Just before the official sales of the new fuel, Petronas performed a blind test with as many as 100 selected drivers and their cars. Close to 70 drivers said they felt more power and response when the new Primax 97 was filled in their fuel tanks, without their knowledge.

With all the added benefits, the new Petronas Primax 97 with Pro-Race does not see a price increase and retails at the same RON 97 price level of RM2.14 per litre (2 to 8 January 2021).
