Here Comes The Facelifted 2021 Innova

UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has introduced the facelifted 2021 Toyota Innova range that is completed with more up to date designs and features as well as have made the additional safety systems to be standard in all variants.


The facelifted Innova comes in three variants; Toyota Innova 2.0X with the starting price of RM 129,677, Toyota Innova 2.0G with the starting price of RM 121,483 and Toyota Innova 2.0E with the starting price of RM 111,622.

Both the Innova 2.0G and Innova 2.0E come in six exterior colour options that include Medium Silver Metallic, Attitude Black Mica, Phantom Brown, Silver Metallic, Super White II and the newly added Bronze Mica Metallic. 

However, the Innova 2.0X comes with seven exterior colour options that includes all the standard colours mentioned above and also an additional choice of Crimson Spark Red Metallic. 


Now, the vehicle has a more sleek yet powerful look, thanks to the chrome and black themed grille, chrome housing door mirrors as well as fresh designs for the fog lamps and fog lamp bezels. 

The Innova 2.0X variant comes equipped with an exclusive Enhancement Package that is inclusive of fresh designs for the wheel arch and body side mouldings as well as redesigned side skirts which gives the vehicle a more sporty feel to it.

Fitted with 16-inch refreshed dual-tone alloy wheels for the Innova 2.0G and 2.0E variants, while the Innova 2.0X remains unchanged with the 17-inch alloy wheels with a new finish, a Dark Grey Metallic colour. 

The instrument cluster of the 2.0X and 2.0G variants are suitable in all lighting conditions as the premium quality Optitron metres produce bright and clear displays. Not forgetting the 4.2-inch full colour Multi Information Display (MID) for the driver’s convenience that is placed between the meters.


Due to popular demand, additional charging ports have been added to the Innova. The two front USB ports have been moved from the centre console to the dashboard and extra USB ports have been added to the third row of seats. All charging ports are equipped with Fast Charging capability and the option of a wireless charging pad in the centre console has been made available for all variants.

Several safety features have been added to the vehicle that now include standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) for both the Innova 2.0X and 2.0G variants. 

Other standard safety features such as the 7 SRS airbags, 3-point auto retracting seatbelts for all rows, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) which are available in all variants. 

There is also the Toyota Vehicle Telematics System (VTS) that is used to vehicle’s movements using GPS and GSM technology if the vehicle is stolen (only available in Innova 2.0X and 2.0G variants). 

Under the hood is the 2.0-litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder VVT-i petrol engine that produces 139 hp at 5,600 rpm and 183 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm which goes to the rear wheels. All variants of the Innova come with a 6-speed Super ECT electronic automatic transmission (Super ECT). 

All Toyota Innova comes with a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage with terms and conditions apply.
