Pos Malaysia Suspends Road Tax Renewal Until 31st March

Pos Malaysia is temporarily suspending the renewal of Lesen Kenderaan Motor (Road tax) for private vehicles from today (23rd February) until the 31st of March 2021.

 This directive was instructed by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and all Pos Malaysia offices nationwide are adhering to it.

However, other services including driving licence and vehicle insurance renewals are still available. During this MCO 2.0 phase, drivers with expired road tax have been given an exemption from renewal but must carry a valid vehicle’s insurance cover note while on the road.   

Road tax renewals can be done online via MySikap JPJ or MyEG.
