RON97 And RON95 Petrol Prices Increase By 5 Sen

The Fuel prices for RON97 and RON95 petrol will increase by 5 sen from February 27 to March 3.

Ministry of Finance stated that the latest prices for RON97 and RON95 petrol would be priced at RM2.35 per litre and RM2.05 per litre, respectively. Meanwhile, the price of diesel fuel remained unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.


The Ministry of Finance has pointed out that the government had previously set the ceiling prices for RON95 petrol and diesel fuel price at RM2.05 per litre and RM2.15 per litre.

According to the weekly Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the actual price for both the RON95 and diesel is 10 sen higher than the ceiling price.

"The government will continue to monitor the impact of crude oil price fluctuations and take appropriate measures to safeguard the well-being of the people," said the Ministry of Finance.
