- Land Rover Introduces Limited Edition Defender Works V8 Trophy
The Land Rover Jaguar plans to bring in Defender Works V8 Trophy vehicles that are only limited to 25 vehicles this year in honour of the company’s signature 4x4’s expedition legacy.
Customers who purchase the V8 Trophy will receive an exclusive entry to a Land Rover Trophy adventure competition at Eastnor Castle located in Herefordshire, United Kingdom. The Castle is the origin of most testing and development of Land Rover vehicles.
Under the hood of the limited edition V8 Trophy is a 405PS 5.0-litre petrol V8 powertrain, an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, as well as a revised brakes and handling kit.
Individuals who are interested in the purchase of this vehicle can choose between the 90 and 110 body designs which come in a striking Eastnor Yellow paintwork finish, along with Narvik Black details and heavy-duty steel wheels.
On top of that, additional features of the vehicle include a front winch, a multi-point expedition cage, a roof rack, an underbody protection, A-bar, Raised air intake, as well as spotlights and mud-terrain tires.
The interior of the vehicle is finished with a full black Windsor leather trim that includes Recaro sports seats with yellow stitch detailing that add contrast. Not forgetting the Land Rover Trophy clock face by Elliot Brown.
The Defender Works V8 Trophy launch film features racing and stunt driver, Jessica Hawkins who is also an ambassador of the company as well as also features 1989 Camel Trophy winner Bob Ives.
