Once again, we are on the world stage but this time not for reasons of pride. Yes, it is true what you are reading right now, we are in the top 10 ranking of the most dangerous countries to drive which is in seventh place.

This ranking was made based on data obtained by the independent body, Zutobi taking into account factors such as the number of deaths on the road which are the maximum speed limit, percentage of drivers wearing seat belts and alcohol concentration limits allowed for drivers. Here is a chart of the most dangerous countries for drivers :

Based on all those factors, Malaysia is ranked seventh, while neighboring Thailand is ranked second. South Africa was in the top spot when it recorded the second highest road death ratio of 25.9 deaths per 100,000 population with 57.5 percent due to alcohol consumption.

At the same time, Norway was named the safest country for drivers with a ratio of 2.7 road deaths per 100,000 inhabitants. Japan, on the other hand, came in second with the highest percentage of drivers wearing seat belts at 98 percent. Here is a chart of the world's five safest countries to drive :

This is actually not surprising as almost every day there are cases of accidents in our country, especially when the festive season arrives. It is hoped that this ranking will be able to give awareness to all drivers to be more careful on the road.
