The 2021 Perodua Ativa has just launched, and customers who have placed their bookings are able to collect their cars as early as today.
“We have so far received some 5,000 bookings for the Perodua Ativa since we began collecting orders on Feb 19. We thank the public very much for their support. Deliveries will begin tomorrow, and we aim to deliver an average of 3,000 units a month,” said Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer Datuk Zainal Abidin at the Perodua Ativa virtual launch.
Perodua also expects that 70 percent of the Perodua Ativa sales will be from the AV variant, while 20 percent of customers will be expected to opt for the mid-range H variant and the remaining 10 percent to the entry level X variant.
To recap, the Perodua Ativa is the first model by Perodua to feature a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine with Dual-mode CVT (D-CVT). It is also equipped with the upgraded Advanced Safety Assist (ASA) 3.0 ADAS suite and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) which comes as standard.
