Perodua’s Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said: “Our intention is to assist institutions that give the greatest benefit to all Malaysians, such as government hospitals which are available to all".

The equipment contributed includes the ever in demand diagnostic equipment, rehabilitation equipment, patient care equipment, dialysis machine and even hampers for the patients as well as front liners at Hospital Kuala Kubu Bharu and Hospital Selayang recently.

The contribution was presented by En JH Rozman Jaafar, Chief Operating Officer of Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd to the hospital management witnessed by the medical officers and its staff.

To date, Perodua has contributed medical and health equipment to public hospitals all over the country including the Sarawak General Hospital, Selayang Hospital, Sungai Buloh Hospital, Sabah Women's and Children's Hospital in Likas, Shah Alam Hospital, Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital, Ampang Hospital, Putrajaya Hospital and several community clinics in the Hulu Selangor district.

According to Dato’ Sri Zainal, in order to make a difference, Perodua as a group would need to be consistent in its efforts and continue to work with such bodies in the future to give back for all the support Perodua has received over the years.
