- All-New Mercedes-AMG SL To Complete Final Winter Development Drive
The all-new Mercedes-Benz 300 SL (super light) sports car model has made its first public appearance at a winter testing session.

Currently on its eighth generation, the SL is due to enter the home straight of its development after a long 69 years (since 1952). On top of the public road trials of the Mercedes-Benz SL 300 racing sports car being conducted on the A81 Autobahn, test drives have been carried out on a special, closed-off proving ground in Sweden which is known to be one of the most challenging racing circuits in the world.

Mercedes-Benz 300 SL has also been brought to wintry regions due to the fully variable all-wheel drive system 4MATIC+ being a first for the SL. Not only that, the redesigned fabric roof must be confirmed fit to undergo harsh weather conditions.

The one of a kind Roadster is set to be introduced sometime this year, after its final refinement that is set on the north loop of the Nürburgring, along with other locations. Various variants of the model will be made available exclusively under the Mercedes-AMG name, highlighting its unique design, as well as its exceptional levels of quality and luxury.
