Additionally, the road has also been fixed before.The road has since been closed from the public but there are still some individuals who are stubborn.This issue has received attention from Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad (PAIP) and repair work will be done as soon as possible.Meanwhile, PAIP also announced to the local community regarding the disruption of water supply in several areas involving 5,500 accounts from 8.30 am to 11 pm, Wednesday due to a broken 400 millimetre main pipe.

On top of that, JPJ and the Department of Environment also joined in, issuing 46 notices for issues like excessive noise, emissions, and vehicle condition."This statewide operation involves 1,681 personnel and will run until Jan 1, focusing on busy roads and hotspots to prevent accidents, manage traffic, and keep street crime in check," said State police chief CP Datuk Ab Rahaman Arsad.

The price is now set at&nbsp;RM3.16 per litre.Diesel cuts down by 8 cents, setting its retail prices in Peninsular Malaysia at&nbsp;RM2.94 per litre&nbsp;(Euro 5 B10/B20).Rates for diesel in East Malaysia remains at&nbsp;RM2.15 per litre&nbsp;(Euro 5 B10/B20).That said, these prices take effect from midnight tonight, until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday, 31 December, 2025.

The situation is a bit like 2015, when a tax incentive sent car sales soaring before dropping the next year. Authorities estimate that more than 2.2 million vehicles will be entering the state over the coming weeks, making it one of the busiest festive stretches of the year.According to Penang Police Chief Datuk Azizee Ismail, <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" href="https://www.carz.com.my/2025/09/penang-traffic-woes-persist-despite-ptmp-penang-gerakan" target="_blank">the projection is based on traffic trends seen during past major festive seasons,</a> alongside the ongoing Penang Festival, which runs from Dec 6 until Jan 10, 2026 and continues to draw visitors from across the country.

Nationwide, traffic volumes are also expected to climb sharply.
