- Five Drivers Safe Despite Badly Crushed Vehicles
Five individuals were fortunate to survive when the cars they were traveling in separately were badly crushed in an incident on Loke Yew Road, heading towards the Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

The accident involved five vehicles, namely a one-tonne lorry, a van, a Toyota Hilux, a Lexus and a Perodua Myvi.

The incident involved five adult men where three of the victims were reported stable while one victim broke his leg and another was found trapped in between the one-tonne truck.

However, the trapped victim was successfully removed as soon as the fire brigade arrived at the scene.
According to local media, all the victims were sent to two separate hospitals, namely Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) and Tuanku Muhriz Chancellor's Hospital (HCTM), Cheras for further treatment.
Several photos circulating on Facebook showed the five vehicles badly crushed in the front and rear in an accident that could have claimed their lives.

Meanwhile, the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Center (PGOKL) confirmed the incident.
“The driver of the one-tonne lorry is believed to have skidded causing the victim to break the road divider.
"This caused four other cars to lose control, causing all the vehicles to be involved in the accident," the organisation said in a statement.
