Kia Holds ‘World’s Largest LED-Illuminated Façade’ On World’s Tallest Structure, Burj Khalifa!
Kia Corporation truly made a mark with its global introduction of the company’s new brand transformation with a stunning LED show on the side of the world’s tallest structure (828 meters), the Burj Khalifa.
On top of introducing its new image to the Middle East, the company also presented the new brand slogan ‘Movement that inspires’, its corporate logo, as well as Kia’s first dedicated electric vehicle, the EV6.
Covering up to 33,000 square meters, the Burj Khalifa's LED façade holds the Guinness World Record as the 'World's Largest LED-Illuminated Façade'.
"Kia is reborn in 2021 with a new vision for mobility. We believe movement inspires ideas, and we want to create a space for all of our customers to bring their ideas to life. The LED show in Dubai is our way of inspiring people to follow their dreams, and let them know that Kia is with them for the journey,” said Senior Vice President and Head of Global Brand and Customer Experience Division at Kia Corporation, Artur Martins.
Kia’s new brand embodies the company’s transformation from vehicle manufacturer to becoming a creator of sustainable mobility solutions for their customers.
The company started off its introduction of the new brand in a digital showcase event in Seoul in January, followed by similar launch events in India and then now the Middle East.
Kia targets to complete their brand transformation for all regional Kia facilities by the end of 2024.
With the recent launch of the EV6, Kia plans to strengthen its EV range with 11 new models, all by the year 2026. Seven dedicated EVs of which will be manufactured on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture and the remaining four will be based on existing ICE derivatives.
