- Dealerships Are Now Open, With Strict SOPs: Volkswagen Malaysia
Aligned with the National Recovery Plan (NRP), Volkswagen showrooms are now resuming operations, excluding outlets in Melaka, Johor, Kedah, Pahang and Kelantan, which are waiting for operating approval.
All showrooms will be adhering to strict Government guidelines and Volkswagen’s #SafeHands measures - ensuring MySejahtera checks and temperature scans, mandatory mask usage, regular sanitisation of showroom, display cars and more.
It is noted that only fully vaccinated visitors are allowed, which means individuals have to pass the 14 or 28 days mark, depending on the vaccine that has been administered.
“The closure of showrooms in the past months have affected our business performance, but we look forward to seeing the industry reopen and move forward, together with the support of our dealers,” said VPCM managing director Erik Winter.
Additionally, Volkswagen dealers will be hosting a virtual showroom event in conjunction with the reopening of showrooms and the upcoming Merdeka celebration. Happening on 27th to 31st August, Volkswagen will be offering exclusive online savings on models such as the Tiguan Allspace Highline and the Passat R-Line - ranging from RM4,500 to RM7,500.
Interested visitors are encouraged to schedule an appointment by contacting their preferred Volkswagen dealership before visiting the outlet. More information can be found here.
