- JPJ: Don’t Forget To Renew Your License Before September 30!
As everyone knows, the government decided that the moratorium period on the renewal of motor vehicle licenses (LKM), Malaysian driving licenses (LMM) and vocational licenses (GDL/PSV) will not be extended past September 30.
The Road Transport Department (JPJ) revealed that it has managed to collect 1.34 million transactions involving the renewal of LKM and LMM nationwide from August 1 until August 16.

JPJ Director General Datuk Zailani Hashim also advised the public not to perform the JPJ transactions at the last minute.
"Renew your license immediately to prevent you from missing the moratorium extension deadline," he said.

The renewal of LKM and LMM can be done at all State and Branch JPJ counter offices, apart from JPJ Strategic Partners until September 30.
On top of that, the public can also renew their license through the mySIKAP or MyEG portals.
In fact, you can also make the payment for the license at 663 Post Office branches nationwide.

Please be advised that from October 1, JPJ will start issuing summonses against road users who fail to renew their LKM licenses.
So, don’t waste your time, renew your license before it’s too late!
