Linking The Spirit Of Korea And Italy, The Raging Bull’s Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series
Lamborghini Seoul recently uncaged two V12 raging bulls in ultra-limited-edition guises dubbed the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series.
Developed by Automobili Lamborghini and Lamborghini Seoul, the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series are made exclusive only for enthusiasts in Korea.
“We are excited to introduce the highly-exclusive Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series to Lamborghini enthusiasts in Korea. This special series further highlights the importance of the Korean super sports car market for Lamborghini. Featuring design elements that symbolise the rich Korean culture and heritage, it stands out and inculcates a strong sense of national pride when it’s on the Korean roads,” remarked Automobili Lamborghini’s Asia Pacific regional director Francesco Scardaoni.
Manifestation of the limited-edition model was led by Lambo’s Centro Stile design division, with the aim to create a symbolic rendition that connects the spirit of Korea and Italy.
Exterior wise, two primary colours of Korea cloak the bulls’ hide. The Green Ocno symbolises ‘warm Korean sentiment’, and the Blue Emera symbolises ‘intelligence and wisdom’.
Contrasting that, the interior features the colour Bianco Leda that symbolises ‘the white-clad race’, meaning the national spirit of Korea.
Taking a full pan, the front bonnet, left and right door panels, and rear fender feature the patterns of the Korean traditional windows, a criss-cross of both vertical and horizontal lines.
Zeroing in on the engine bay, it features the two trigrams of the Korean flag, the Geon and Gam, which denotes a sense of patriotism among Koreans.
Pumping at the bulls’ heart is the naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that churns an output of 740 hp and 690 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The open-top driving Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series has a top speed of 350 km/h and a power to weight ratio of 2.2 kg/hp.
Plus, the bull can charge from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and can brake from 100 km/h to a complete halt in 31 meters.
Lamborghini Seoul’s representative director Frank Steinleitner concluded, “Together with Automobili Lamborghini Centro Stile, we have uniquely developed the Aventador S Roadster Korean Special Series that are made exclusively available only for Korea. The entire development process from conceptualisation to production has been an enriching one, and we look forward to introducing more special editions to our discerning clients in Korea.”
