Former Bentley’s Director Of Design Stefan Sielaff Is Now The Vice President Of Global Design At Geely!
Geely Auto Group, or more synonymous as Geely, has appointed Stefan Sielaff as their new Vice President of Global Design. He will be succeeding Peter Horbury, who will be joining Group Lotus as Senior Vice President of Design.
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Stefan brings over 30 years of design experience - with previously working at design studios at Audi, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen Group. Additionally, Stefan was also the Director of Design for Bentley Motors in 2015. He will oversee Geely’s portfolio of brands, including Geely Auto, Geometry, Lynk & Co, while also supporting the development of their premium EV brand, Zeekr.
Previously, Peter Horbury joined Geely in 2011 as their executive vice president of design, in which he created the Geely 3.0 era, which redefined Geely as a whole. Peter was also involved in the development of Lynk & Co, Geometry and Zeekr Brands, thanks to creating a network of Geely Design studios in Sweden, Spain, China and the United States.
“We are highly appreciative of Peter Horbury’s contribution and dedication to Geely over the past decade. Peter led one of the most creative global teams in the automotive industry and helped Geely redefine its brand image globally. At the same time, we also warmly welcome Stefan Sielaff to the Geely family. We believe that his years of design experience will further enhance Geely Auto Group portfolio of brands with the ultimate goal of providing the best products to consumers.” said Geely Holding Group president and chief executive officer.
