- Sedimentary Roads In Dungun – 5,000 Residents Are Stranded
Residents in Hulu Dungun face troubles once again with the several giant holes spotted along the main routes one to five meters deep in a recent incident.
Source: Berita Harian
The holes caused about 5,000 residents around Kampung Kuala Jengai, Rantau Panjang, Syukur, and Pasir Raja to lose contact.
For the record, this is not the first incident reported, especially after the major floods in 2014.
The last time the patch was made was on August 30.
Following the incident, the route had to be closed to all vehicles temporarily until everything was sorted out.
As of last night, the authorities have not fully carried out the repair work on the route.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
