Honda Malaysia has announced that the highly anticipated sporty and stylish all-new City Hatchback is now open for bookings at all Honda dealerships nationwide.

The all-new city hatch is conceptualised to be an energetic hatchback that will turn heads and win the hearts of many.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Madoka Chujo said, “The introduction of the All-New City Hatchback is a key milestone for Honda in Malaysia as it is the first time the Company is offering the City model in a hatchback body type”.

Honda offers the 2022 Honda City Hatchback with two different engine options - Petrol and e:HEV. The former is a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC unit generating a maximum power output of 119 hp and a peak torque of 145 Nm.

The range-topping RS trim gets an e:HEV hybrid mill, comprising a 1.5-litre Sports intelligent Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) hybrid engine and two electric motors. The combination generates 108 hp and 253 Nm of torque (highest in the segment).

The car comes equipped with four modes of ULTRA seats. Four modes are Refresh, Long, Tall, and Utility. You also get the Remote Engine Start that allows you to start the engine even when away from the car.

Exterior wise, the all-new City Hatchback appears sporty and fresh. It embodies a lifestyle concept for the younger target market where the hatch features a High-Gloss Piano Black Front Grill, Black Solid Wing and Gloss Black Door Mirrors for a two-toned colour expression. The attractive 16-inch Alloy Wheels also complement the appearance of the car.

The All-New City Hatchback is the first in its segment to offer a complete package of Next-Generation Advanced Safety Technology – the Honda SENSING. The Honda SENSING driver assistance safety systems in the All-New City Hatchback RS e:HEV comprise of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High Beam (AHB).

The interested folks can now book their new City Hatchback at any Honda dealership nationwide.
