The Melaka Road Transport Department (JPJ) issued 39 summonses during a statewide enforcement operation on staged bus services. The most common violations were using mobile phones while driving and poor vehicle maintenance.Other offences included failure to submit fare schedules, operator and route licenses, making illegal U-turns, and having expired fire extinguishers and Public Service Vehicle (PSV) licenses.
