Along with the effort to conquer the recent flash flood, several automotive industries also gathered to assist flood victims.

Yesterday, Perodua reported assisting those affected, and more companies followed the same step – Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM), BMW Group Malaysia and UMW Toyota Motor.

Due to the recent flash flood, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) assists owners affected by the recent flood tragedy by giving 30 percent off parts and labour for repair works starting today until 28th February 2022 at all Volkswagen authorised service centres.

Also, all Volkswagen owners have options to spread out their bill over six or 12 months at a zero percent interest rate (T&C apply). To redeem the flood relief support voucher, owners may download the new Volkswagen Cares app (Apple App Store/Google Play Store).

As for BMW Group Malaysia, the company has announced up to 20 percent reduction on parts repair for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad affected owners.

An amount of RM300 rebate will be provided as towing cost by any BMW authorised dealerships. The reduction and rebates are valid until January 31, 2022.

By offering Toyota Flood Assist Program to its affected customers, UMW Toyota Motor is providing a 25 percent discount on the total bill inclusive of parts and labour charges, free towing service, evaluation and quotation on expected repair cost, which includes parts removal.

The company also offers zero percent interest “Easy Payment Plan” for eligible customers. All Toyota Service Centres and Body and Paint centres will remain open during this critical season.

For further assistance, Toyota owners can contact Toyota’s 24SEVEN Road Assist, which is open to all Toyota owners. The centre runs 24-hours a day and 7 days a week.

At the same time, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia offers up to 30 percent discount on all parts repair, free vehicle towing by authorized dealerships, and a free evaluation of all necessary repair costs with a 0% interest free easy payment plan valid until January 31, 2022.

To affected owners, do contact any preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealerships or Mercedes-Benz 24h Roadside Assistance and Customer Care Centre.

Caricarz wishes all those who are affected by the flood will get all kinds of support and assistance needed to fight through this battling season. Be safe!
