Exploring The Scottish Cairngorms, Automobili Lamborghini In Scotland

Initiated at the start of the 2021 winter, a fleet of Lamborghinis rolled out across the Scottish Cairngorms in search of the perfect driving routes.

Experiencing the Scottish charm, models from across the Aventador and Huracan ranges, including the Urus, travelled over 200 miles (322 km) backdropping Scotland’s spectacular scenery.

Notably, the Lambos drove across the Scottish Snow Roads, starting from Edinburgh and passing through still-closed ski resorts and the highest village in the Scottish Highlands, Tomintoul.

Besides the design, colours and sound of the cars that turned heads, the tour also encompassed the Cairngorms’ own art installations created for travellers on the Snow Roads route.

Namely, ‘Still’, which is just outside of Tomintoul, ‘The Watchers’ by Lecht ski resort, and finally ‘Contours’ in the Glenshee Cairnwell pass.

To line it up, the fleet included an Aventador SVJ Roadster in ‘Arancio Fux’ together with its ‘Blu Dedalo’ stablemate, the Aventador S.

The full Huracán EVO range, including the four-wheel-drive Fluo capsule coupes in ‘Verde Shock’ and ‘Arancio Dac’ follow suit.

Then, a ‘Bianco Asopo’ Spyder, accompanied by rear-wheel drive Huracán coupe and Spyder in ‘Bianco Canopus’ and ‘Giallo Tenerife’ respectively.

Completing the line-up, the latest Huracán STO, in ‘Grigio Titans’, revelled in its race DNA to take on the long stretches and glorious curves of the Scottish Highlands’ roads.

That’s not all, during an overnight stay in the Hauser and Wirth, Fife Arms in Braemar, the Lamborghini pilots were then transported by the Urus to the Cairngorms Dark Sky Park.

Said Super SUV Urus came in three and featured colours such as the ‘Pearl Capsule Arancio Borealis’, ‘Giallo Inti’ and ‘Graphite Capsule’ in matt ‘Grigio Keres’.

All in all, the last destination brings a meaningful end to the whole journey as it being the most northerly location in Europe, where they seek out stars, namely the Cor Tauri.

Being the brightest in the Taurus constellation, Cor Tauri is the moniker adopted by Lamborghini to describe its program towards vehicle electrification and ongoing sustainability.
