From The First To The Last Edition, The Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Takes To The Road
Three generations together to rejoice a timeless icon as for the first time since its debut at Pebble Beach, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 takes to the road.
During the special time, Lambo’s brand-new super sports car was escorted by two of its most important predecessors, the first Countach LP 400 and the last Countach 25th Anniversary produced.
Outstandingly, the Countach LPI 800-4 is powered by Lamborghini’s 6.5-litre V12 engine, delivering 780 hp, combined with a 48-volt electric motor.
Said e-motor is mounted directly on the gearbox, which provides an additional 34 hp of power for instant response and increased performance. Uniting all the setup, it boosts a total output of 814 hp.
Plus, it is also powered by a supercapacitor that provides three times more power than a lithium-ion battery of equal weight.
This super sports car has a limited-edition production of just 112 units, all of which were already sold before its presentation.
Interestingly, the number of units is a reference to ‘LP 112’, the project name used internally during the development of the first Lamborghini Countach.
That said, deliveries of the Countach LPI 800-4 starts from Q1 of 2022 to patrons around the world who are waiting for the privilege to drive a piece of automotive history recreated for the future.
