Making its way through our national street, Chery has verified the arrival of OMODA 5 to the city anytime soon. Chery has built the car as its first global model and main product to enter the European Union along with right-hand drive markets.

The compact crossover has received positive feedback in China and abroad since its global debut at the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show.

Apart from its huge and luxurious SUV, OMODA 5 features a borderless front design that matches the diamond matrix grille where T-shaped LED daytime running lights and LED taillights exist under its bumper.

OMODA 5 body measurements come in 4,400 mm in length, 1,830 mm in height, and 2,630 mm in wheelbase. Also, spotted stylish lines starting from the A-pillar and ending at the rear gives a sleek appearance to its overall body.

Interior wise, premium features, including dual 10.25-inch HD curved screens, flat-bottomed steering wheels, and sport seats, are also present for this new, highly integrated model. As seen, the cabin has ample space to roam for occupants.

Riding on its 18-inch sports wheel, the engine powers OMADA 5 from a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine that creates 197 hp and 230 Nm paired to 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

However, the company is targeting younger buyers within the 25 to 30 age group community as OMODA 5 proves Chery’s in-depth insight and mindset on rejuvenation and globalisation.
