The All-new Astra Sports Tourer estate has been revealed by Vauxhall, which will be available for order in early 2022.

This time around, the sporty vehicle has added its new features, especially its glorious powertrain.

Introducing an electrified powertrain that is available with plug-in hybrid technology with highly efficient petrol and diesel engines, the Astra Sports Tourer comes standard in a six-speed manual gearbox. At the same time, the PHEV version uses an eight-speed transmission.

With 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol units in between 108hp and 128hp and offering 1.5- litre four-cylinder, turbo-diesel 128hp is currently available for Astra Sports Tourer.

Looking at its bodywork, the British’s first electrified vehicle has an included Vizor front end that features a single and impressive Pure Panel around the Griffin logo.

Coming clean and sleek, the Vauxhall Griffin shines at the centre of the tailgate coupled with high-mounted brake lights gives the whole rear looks edgy. In addition, LED headlights and a front camera is also equipped at the front.

The company’s first estate vehicle has brought an avant-garde feeling once you open the five-door hatchback model and step inside the cabin just to discover the innovative interior design of Astra Sports Tourer.

Featuring a 10-inch driver instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen, the Pure Panel HMI offers a fine experience to users. It also has Climate Control, Smartphone Connectivity featuring wireless AppleCarPlay and Android Auto.

Other than comfortable and cosy seats for occupants, the Astra Sports Tourer is known to be approved of its front seats through the Healthier backs Campaign by AGR Germany.

Its ultra-ergonomic seats are none to complain about, especially if driven on long journeys as its new “Intelli-Space”, a moveable floor optimises boot volume of up to 608 litres that could be easily adjusted to high and low at a 45-degree angle.

A new advanced feature added to make your life easier, the boots offer 1,634 litres of storage space when folded, making it simple to load extended items. Amazingly, with the ratio of 40/20/40 split seats folded, the floor is flat!

Essential kits such as first aid or spare tyre can be reached without having to unpack the trunk as the safety kits are stored in an underfloor compartment where occupants may easily get it from their seats.
