- BMW X2 Boldly Gold – Special Goldplay Edition
Revealing the added edition to the BMW X2 family model is its new Goldplay edition. Coming in as Sports Activity Coupe (SAC), the car has six hues choices: San Remo Green, Alpine White, Misano Blue, Black Sapphire Metallic, Skyscraper Grey, and the BMW Individual Storm Bay. As an opt, Frozen Black metallic and Frozen Pure Grey are available.
The X2 Goldplay version is suitable for those looking for something sensible. This time around, this edition offers a package that allows users to experience gold-ish X2 touches on its physique features, even stitching.
As highlighted, it has an extended M High-gloss Shadow Line and its logo projection from the driver's side mirror. Then, also available Adaptive LED Headlights which have four-segment matrix high-beam headlight function, turning lights and adaptive light distribution.
Flashing in its shining armour, the X2 goes extra when most accents are covered in Galvanic Gold. They were gold kidney grilles, a gold pinstripe livery, and gold mirror caps.
Riding on its sparkling 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, the M leather steering wheel comes standard with multifunction buttons and stainless-steel pedals.
Whether the Goldplay Editon comes in a standard diesel car, hybrid X2 xDrive25e or X2 M35I, each model has specific options regardless of chosen powertrain. It may deliver its power to a 6-speed manual transmission, a 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch or 8-speed Steptronic transmission.
Interior wise, the cabin does not fail you as it has gold-trimmed sill plates and passengers get to experience sitting on gold seat-stitching. Added info, even the carpet is decorated with “Giallo Oro” gold piping.
The gold continues to adorn its instrument panel, centre console, outer and centre armrests of front seats. Offering a widescreen of a 10.25-inch touchscreen display and BMW Head-Up Display is also equipped for this special edition of BMW X2.
Safety-wise, BMW X2 comprises Cruise Control with brake function Park Distance Control with sensors. Collision Warning with city braking function and Speed Limit Display with no-overtaking indication.
