The electrification assist comes in the form of a front-mounted e-motor rated at 86 HP and 292 Nm, plus a separate e-motor at the rear axle that serves up 102 HP and 169 Nm to make up its Direct4 all-wheel drive (AWD) system.Combined with its six-speed automatic transmission, the Special Edition RX boasts a total system output of 366 HP and 550 Nm, allowing for a rapid century sprint time of 6.2 seconds. Although not many details were shared, we suspect that this special model comes with Lexus’ proprietary Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system, which is already available in the standard RX 500h F Sport.Last but not least, there is no mention of the warranty packages available on the new Lexus RX 500h F Sport Special Edition, but we expect it to get the same packages as its standard twin, which include a 5-year, unlimited mileage warranty coverage, plus a separate 8-year, unlimited mileage warranty for its hybrid battery pack.
