An element of both history and future icon being suited to the new Ferrari Daytona SP3 has not disappointed car enthusiasts with its upgraded styling and astonishing bodywork.

The hypercar identified the third midsize from its Icona segment after Monza SP1 and SP2 crafted honouring Ferrari’s racing performance in 24 hours of Daytona in 1967. Then, designed with a “Targa” type body with a removable hardtop thanks to Ferrari sports prototypes in the 1960s.

The unique, dramatic shape and wide rear lights adorned on Daytona SP3 integrates with what’s under the hood is a seven speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox. Bringing in a top speed more than 340km/h and 2.85 seconds from zero to 100km/h or 7.4 seconds zero to 200km/h says it all for Daytona SP3 speed performance.

Recently announced, Ferrari Daytona SP3 won the prestigious Red Dot: Best of The Best award for 2022 at the Red Dot: Product Design awards.

Apart from that, Ferrari has triumphed four highly prestigious prizes at the all-important Red Dot Award: Product Design awards. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 received the Red Dot: Best of the Best, while the 812 Competizione, 812 Competizione A and 296 GTB locked the Red Dot award.

The car marque scooped a total winning of 23 Red Dot Awards in between 2015 and 2022 which explains the Daytona SP3 prestigious award joined in footsteps of the FXX-K, the 488 GTB, the J50, the Portofino, the Monza SP1 and the SF90 Stradale.

Merely based on a pleasant combination of contrasts including sculptural, sensual surfaces alternating with strong lines puts a resemblance to a powerful aerodynamics from the 60s and 70s classic car range such as 330 P4, 350 Can-Am and 512 S.
