A Perodua Kancil was sold for only RM1 !

According to Berita Harian, a Melaka workshop owner sold a Perodua Kancil car for RM1 to a single mother, Jamilah Mazaki, 70.

According to the workshop's owner, Shikh Muhammad Makhdad Haron, 49, the senior citizen came in with the intention of purchasing a car but did not have enough money and hoped to make monthly payments.

"I tried to find a used vehicle because I was sympathetic to his situation of having to use e-hailing services as well as boarding people when buying necessities to make rempeyek and going out to work at a restaurant."

"Finally, I found a stranded Perodua Kancil owner willing to donate the vehicle for Jamilah's use."

Before being handed over to the senior citizen, the car was repaired so that it could be used.
