BMWs Are Not Eligible For The Same Fuel Subsidies As Kancils, Says Azmin

BMW owners, believe it or not, are not entitled to the same fuel subsidy as Perodua Kancil owners.

That is what Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Minister of Trade and Industry, recently stated.

The government is said to be introducing fuel subsidies to help the low-income group cope with the impact of rising crude oil prices.

Is this to say that BMW owners will be 'excluded' from receiving fuel subsidies? In other words, must these people pay a higher price?

Is it, however, fair to BMW owners? What are your thoughts?
