- The Audi Urbansphere Concept – A Giant MPV Inspired By ‘Chinese Megacities’!
Audi has just unveiled the 'urbansphere,' the automaker's largest vehicle or concept to date.

Inspired by ‘Chinese megacities’ and is a result of a collaboration between Audi’s crayon studio in Beijing and its HQ in Ingolstadt, Audi says it “showcases its vision of the premium mobility of tomorrow” and that the urbansphere has been “systematically designed from the inside out”.

This giant MPV is over 5.5m long, 2.01m wide and almost 1.8m tall. The wheelbase is also a huge 3.4m.

Exterior-wise, Audi showcases such cool features as;
- Loads of glass,
- Huge Audi Avus-inspired 24-inch wheels
- Fancy light surfaces front and rear

Performance-wise on the other hand;
- A 120kWh battery and an electric motor on both axles for a total of 395bhp and 509lb - - Torque that drives all four wheels
- Total range of 466 miles
- Accept charge at a super speedy 270kW

That means you could get around 186 miles of extra range from a 10-minute stop.
Getting to the interior of the the ‘urbansphere’;
- Suicide doors that swing open
- Virtual red carpet
- Giant wooden dash at the up front display
- Rotating giant arm chair
- Small screens in the back of the front seats
- Giant transparent OLED cinema screen
- Water dispenser between the rear seats
- Facial scanning system and voice analysis that can determine if you’re feeling stressed
- Headrest-mounted speakers.

As we would expect from a 2022 concept, there are numerous recycled and recyclable materials inside, including bamboo viscose fabric and ECONYL, a recycled polyamide.
