- Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE AWD System
Another demonstration discovered their e-4ORCE technology displaying its impressive RC car drivability over a range of drivetrain.
Before we go further, what’s a RC car?
RC car or Radio-controlled cars are miniature model cars or trucks that can be controlled from a distance using a specialized transmitter or remote.
With an Ariya exterior shell, representing the first Nissan vehicle to be offered with e-4ORCE, the RC car navigates a specially developed figure-eight course with various surfaces to show how the technology maintains the driving line and steerability.
The performance shown whenever it is cornering on snow-covered roads.
Exclusively for RC cars, the e-4ORCE RC car is using four electric motors, one for each wheel, to reproduce e-4ORCE’s all-wheel control technology.
The control technology enables the driving force of each motor to be individually controlled which is monitored by sensors mounted in the vehicle.
A monitor connected to the car’s on-board camera gives the driver a first-hand impression as if driving a real car.
Apart from that, it assures RC cars to navigate the demonstration course smoothly over a variety of course surface conditions.
The operation of the e-4ORCE RC car is done with an arcade-like setup, complete with accelerator pedal, steering wheel, and tilting racing seat.
Kudos to Nissan for choosing to explain advanced technology in the most engaging way, to further assist all ages' understanding of how it works!
