German luxury automaker Audi is very much renown for its tech-first approach. Perhaps this also makes it a fitting auto marque to partner with renowned gaming chair makers Vertagear recently.

Audi recently teamed up with leading gaming chair brand Vertagear, birthing a trio of licenced-products.
Birthed out of said partnership are a trio of gaming chairs christened as the SL3800 Audi Edition, PL4800 Audi Sport Edition, and the SL5800 RS Edition. Effectively, these are based on Vertagear’s existing products range, but they’ve been given special Audi-themed aesthetics.
However, we’ll also acknowledge the fact that Vertagear as brand in this space is widely touted as an industry leader when it comes to esports comfort, so this special edition trio of seats likely exceeds expectations in terms of fit, finish, and fatigue-fighting.

Entry-level Vertagear SL3800 Audi Edition.
Closer inspection sees the SL3800 Audi Edition stand as the entry-level offering in this range. It features a steel frame construction, and ultra-premium foam and high-quality synthetic leather, all centred towards daily usage comfort.
Present here too is a supportive neck pillow, as well as Vertagear’s patented CounterMax lumbar support for improved posture and reduced tension, and its VertaAir Seat System, which enhances breathability and circulation via air-cushioning.

SL5800 RS Edition.
Moving to the SL5800 RS Edition, this one features higher-end aluminium alloy frame construction, followed by upgraded materials and HygennX velvet fabric, which provides odour control and quick drying via coffee ground-infused nanotechnology.
For the latter, Vertagear’s explanation reads: “Nano-sized coffee granules within purified coffee grounds are weaved into our HygennX fibers and embedded into our HygennX padding where they absorb and neutralize odors.”

PL4800 Audi Sport Edition.
As for the PL4800 Audi Sport Edition, this offering is set apart by its adoption of NuSuede, which is a durable, high-performance microsuede. This premium model is also outfitted with distinct Audi Sport design elements and offers additional adjustment features.
In terms of pricing, these trio of gaming chairs officially licenced by Audi command between US$499.99 (approx. RM2,111) and US$699.99 (approx. RM 2,955).
