- 2023 Subaru Ascent: Onyx Edition
The 2023 Subaru Ascent SUV is getting new features as applied to its Onyx Edition.
Riding on 20-inch aluminium alloy wheels, the Onyx receives exterior trim coated in a black finish and darker badging.

Cabin wise, the model is getting water-repellent seats with contrasting green stitching and a power moonroof as set standard on the Touring trim but an opt Limited.
All three Onyx, Limited and Touring trims comes in standard with dual-function X-Mode with hill descent control and Snow-Dirt and Deep Snow-Mud settings for optimized all-wheel drive (AWD) performance.

On top of that, the model includes Harman Kardon sound system with Cabin Connect, 12-way power driver's seat with cushion extension, 4-way power front passenger seat, second row sunshades, outboard heated seats, Surround View Monitoring, and a DriverFocus distraction mitigation system as an available package upgrade for the Onyx.

The three-row 2023 Subaru Ascent midsize SUV is built with a larger grille, new LED headlights, and redesigned C-shaped taillights. Meanwhile, there’s also upgraded EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with smoother operation set under a greater range of conditions with a wider field of view.
In addition, the new Subaru members will be integrated with new software, an updated wide-angle camera, and a new electric brake booster which adapts the looks of revised Legacy and Outback models.
