Perodua has teased the imminent arrival of the new B-segment MPV, roughly a week after leaked photos of the D27A all-new 2022 Perodua Alza circulated on social media sites.

Perodua teased multiple angles of its new MPV in the short 50-second video, including the front, side, and rear.

Some details can be seen in the teaser, such as the X-themed front fascia seen on current Perodua models like the Ativa and Myvi.

There are also full LED headlights and what appear to be LED front fog lights. The Alza, like its Indonesian siblings, the Xenia / Avanza / Veloz, gets 5-lug alloy wheels, though the exact wheel size is unknown at this time.

The all-new D27A Alza is said to be powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 106 PS and 137 Nm and mated to a Dual-mode CVT (D-CVT). The front wheels receive power.

As with other modern Perodua models, safety features will be plentiful, with the Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA) ADAS suite expected on most D27A Alza variants. Six airbags are also standard.

With prices starting in the mid-RM 60k range and peaking at RM 80k, the D27A Perodua Alza could become Perodua's most expensive model to date, eclipsing the Ativa and Aruz in the process.
