The Largest Led-Illuminated Circuit: Fiorano 50th Anniversary Celebration Wins GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS

Celebrating 50th anniversary of the Fiorano Circuit, a remarkable lighting exhibition is dedicated to the history of the famous track at Ferrari Museum.

During the show, it shares a story of 50 years of activity in the circuit through a compilation of pictures and videos displaying the opening in 1972, as wishes by Enzo the man himself. 

The mega circuit was adorned into a gigantic LED wall, made up of 172,000 lights and 1,039,280 LED points, 89 km of dynamic LED strings making up a total of 112.958,27 square metres. In addition, two legendary cars were presented at historical section to mark the company’s 50-year history. 

Spotted a Ferrari 3.2 Mondial Cabriolet placed at the centre of the famous visit that Pope John Paul II made to Maranello in 1988 and invited to become a guest appearance at the Fiorano circuit.

A remarkable event when the Pope had a few laps of the Fiorano Circuit in the Ferrari 3.2 Mondial Cabriolet, driven by Piero Ferrari. 

Apart from that, the display of the Maranello “prototypes’’ were identified as one of inventive brilliance by the creator. 

There are mechanical tools and wide intensive research has been made which led the car marque to create such unique vehicles equipped with advanced technology resulting from creative imagination to design a Ferrari.

In assembling top-premium vehicles always, the test bench is inspired from LaFerrari. A perfect model to discover parts that can be upgrade whether it’s the components, aerodynamics or even its chassis where there’s an advanced solutions tied to the data required especially during extensive experience on the home track.

According to Enzo Ferrari he stated that from now on he does not want any Ferrari to take to the track or enter range production without passing the Fiorano test with flying colours.

The centre piece of the exhibition is the spectacular lighting show staged on June 15, which featured the circuit itself and was certified by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS.
