2024 Mitsubishi L200 / Triton Showcases A Production Body, Exudes An Outlander Vibe
The new Mitsubishi L200 / Triton is still being worked on, as evidenced by spy photos of the truck bearing a factory appearance. This specific prototype, which looks considerably better than earlier mules and imitates the Outlander, has a large grille and is flanked by slim daytime running lights with integrated turn indicators.

The headlamps are located further below and need to be connected by substantial chrome trim pieces. Continuing on, we shall witness an evolutionary design with angular highlights above the wheel arches and streamlined appearance.
They are connected by a well-known greenhouse, but it's important to note that the truck appears to have an enlarged wheelbase, which could result in a more roomy back passenger compartment.
Out back, the changes are less obvious, but the tailgate appears more traditional and better integrated. Having said that, it appears that the upcoming L200/Triton may be recognised right away when viewed from behind.
Mitsubishi hasn't said much about the truck so far, but in 2020, the company's Small but Lovely marketing plan announced the new Triton will go on sale in FY2022, which spans from April 1 to March 31 of 2023. Despite this, there was a rumour that the truck wouldn't show up until late 2023. At this point, not much is known about the truck, although it is predicted to share many characteristics with the Nissan Navara of the next generation.
