Ken Block’s Hoonicorn Miniaturised, The Hoonigan Hoonicorn 1/10th-Scale RC Car
Since its debut in Gymkhana Seven, the drift maestro, Ken Block’s Hoonicorn has become the most iconic car in his extensive stable of ridiculous builds.
For us mere mortals to build one may be a little out of reach, but fret not, an alternative option has presented itself in the form of a 1/10th scale Hoonicorn RC car.
Exactly like the original version, the Hoonicorn RC underpins a 1965 Mustang bodywork, widebody fender flares, side skirts, spoiler, and even the 4WD system.
Outstandingly, the twin turbo setup can be seen popping out of the hood cut-out, mimicking the real thing, even though the power comes from dual electric motors.
Then, it also features a replica Hoonicorn V2 body decal (Hoonicorn vs. The World 2 livery), a set of replica American Racing VF503 wheels, and a 2.4GHz 2-channel radio system.
Other than that, a pistol-grip controller, steel driveshafts, metal ball bearings, and adjustable shock mounts make this the RC performance equivalent of the real Hoonicorn.
The electric ready to run Hoonicorn RC car can be purchased directly from Hoonigan at a price of USD 395.99 (RM 1,762.95).
That said, the miniature beast was developed by the Hoonigan team themselves, in collaboration with the RC experts at Team Associated.
