- PLUS, announces Travel Time Advisory for Aidiladha
PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) declares Travel Time Advisory (TTA) expected to prevent traffic convergence on the North-South Expressway (NSE) throughout the Hari Raya Aidiladha period from July 7 to July 12, 2022.
Those who heading to Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak (North), and Johor are advised to enter the highway BEFORE 10am and return journey from Klang Valley are advised to enter the highway before 9am.

As available for free on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, the PLUS App provides live CCTV feeds of critical locations along the highway, a toll fare calculator, and a built-in journey planner.
With Hari Raya Aidiladha approaching, do expect traffic congestion! However, there are ways to ease your journey whether BALIK KAMPUNG or PULANG KE BANDAR.
Meanwhile, highway users heading towards closer destinations or to other states are advised to enter the highway after 1pm.
According to PLUS chief operating officer Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi stated that expected around 1.9 million vehicles to use the highway each day this Aidiladha in comparison to the current 1.8 million vehicles plying the highway daily, so some congestion and a prolonged travel time are to be expected,”
“Based on our studies of the return journey to Klang Valley, highway users can expect an extension of up to twice if the average travel time on the highway if they choose not to adhere to the TTA schedule as advised.
“Therefore, we strongly advise highway users to adhere to our TTA, plan out their journeys beforehand, and make the necessary preparations for a longer journey,” he added.
The TTA is designed based on historical traffic data to guide and enable highway users to experience a manageable journey during this festive period. Its purpose is to distribute traffic and circumvent the convergence of traffic as vehicles enter the highway at the same time on major highway stretches, toll plazas, and rest areas, thus reducing congestion.
