The Croatian-based automaker, Rimac Automobili has recently rolled its first electric vehicle off the production line, the Rimac Nevera.

Beating with a 1,914 hp heart, surging from 0 to 97 km/h in 1.85 seconds and a top speed of 412 km/h, these are what the Nevera is capable of.

According to Rimac, it was created as a demonstrator and marketing vehicle, and only 150 models of the all-electric hypercar will be produced.

Five weeks on the final assembly line are needed to build a Nevera, while many of its parts and systems are made many months prior at Rimac facilities.

It took five years of development and more than 1.6 million collective hours of research to get the vehicle on the road.

Along its journey, it also went through three generations of powertrain technology, 18 prototypes and 45 physical crash tests.

Pricing-wise, the Rimac Nevera is estimated to tag from USD 2.27 million (RM 10,097,641) to USD 2.5 million (RM 11,120,750).

These vehicles will be delivered to Rimac’s global network of 25 official dealer partners across the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Rimac Group’s chief executive officer, Mate Rimac, concluded, “At the beginning of the Nevera journey, we ran thousands of virtual simulations and experimented with countless designs before eventually, the time came to create the very first working prototype. At this time, around 300 people were working in the company, and now as we enter full production, our company has grown five-fold to have over 1,500 colleagues and construction is well underway for our new 1.07 million square feet Rimac Campus."
